Quick review of LG WM2496HWM
Review of LG WM2496HWM by
nmmartine
Am I the only one who doesn't like this? I must be used to conventional washers, where the clothes actually get wet due to the large amount of water used. I wash with the prewash, extra water & extra rinse settings so that I'm sure the clothes get wet, but sometimes my clothes come out with dry spots just the same! I just opened the washer to a horrible smell. Turned out that a dishcloth used to wipe up milk my 3-yr-old spilled this morning didn't get clean, so the entire load smelled like rotten milk! Quiet spinning, but the valve makes a huge noise when pumping in the water. The matching dryer burnt out in the 2nd month and again needs repair!

Quick review of Amcor AL-9000-E

Installation was easy enough - but it seems to really have to work hard to cool a 200 Sq Ft room to below 80 degrees F. with ambient temperature outside in the high 90's/low 100's.

Quick review of Dyson DC17 Animal
Review of Dyson DC17 Animal by
ahr007
I agonized over the purhase of such an expensive vacuum. But I can truthfully say I am in love with it.
It works just as claimed both the company I purchassed it from Hammacher Schlemmer Co and the Dyson Company cannot do more to help with any problem.
I have three cats one Maine Coon long hair. Hair is a constant problem. but not since I got my Dyson.
My only complaint is that it does not have a carry bag or pouch to hold all the attachments that is the biggest design flaw and my only compplaint.

The Little Kettle that Whistles
Review of ATH S3019-30 by
schellsr
Advantages: good purchase
Disadvantages: n/a
This kettle, the ATH brand has been around for a while. Most people do not know that the abbreviations ATH stand for American Trading House. Anything you can get in America has to be good, if you live there, especially. I looked it up, I was curiou ...

Quick review of KitchenAid KCM511OB
Review of KitchenAid KCM511OB by
ayersk
I purchased this product a year ago and it has already broken down. The electronics failed one morning and we've had to replace it. I thought the Kitchen Aid product would be a great one but was disappointed with the amount of time it lasted.

Quick review of Dyson DC14 Animal
Review of Dyson DC14 Animal by
JenReg
I bought a Dyson Animal about 2 year ago, primarily to get all of the cat hair off the floor (other vacuums we owned failed to do this). It works really great! It does pick up cat hair and lots of other oddball things that usally were left there after we vacuumed with other cleaners.
I found it a little difficult to work with in the beginning, such as the hose release button and a few others (I always seemed to be "undoing" something I didn't want "undone". But I've mastered it now, and really love the long cord, and the hose/nozzle which reaches really far and makes getting in corners/edge a breeze.
This is a great vacuum, I highly recommend it!

Good mixer for the price
Review of Black & Decker MX250 5 Speed by
rprmsr
Advantages: mixes small jobs well and is easy to use and store away
Disadvantages: can't handle heavy batters
This mixer is a descent mixer for the low price. It gets a little bogged down with heavy batters, but generally it muscles through most jobs. The scraper attachment never gets used because it really isn't as useful as it looks. It is easier to get out a ...

Horrible blender
Review of Hamilton Beach 50644 by
rprmsr
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: it doesn't blend
This is a blender that is not worth the $20 it retails for. First of all it has a plastic container instead of the glass ones that hold up better. It gets bogged down easily and can't chop ice well, without leaving chunks. I couldn't even get salsa to ...

Good concept, poorly executed
Review of Magic Bullet 7712.00 by
rprmsr
Advantages: Ease of use for small jobs, compact
Disadvantages: not big enough for larger blending jobs, too expensive for quality
This is a great option for those with small spaces and who need a blender for small jobs and less frequently. It's kind of a hassle to blend large quantities, because you have to blend things up in smaller portions and it takes awhile and can get kind of ...

Good crock pot, some issues
Review of Rival 38501-W by

Advantages: good size and easy clean-up

Cook Pizza with Pizzazz!
Review of Presto 3430 by
rumline
Advantages: More efficient than a regular oven; very easy to use
Disadvantages: No on-off switch
The Presto Pizzazz is labeled as a Pizza Oven. Technically, it is not an oven since it is not enclosed. Nitpicking aside, it does a very efficient job of cooking or reheating pizza.
The Pizzazz separates into two parts that are much easier to store tha ...

Works perfectly, and requires little cleanup. It comes with dual baskets and stays hot while using it and I love using it. Would buy two if I could. I can be adjusted in temperatures, and is an attractive appliance.
