Hoover is a great brand in vacumn cleaners. I have one that's lasted for 3 yrs. so far and still works great. I used it to clean up after Christmas and it picked up pine needles and small pieces of broken ornaments perfectly. We have a small white kitten that sheds and didn't have a problem cleaning up cat hairs on carpet and upholstery. My grand daughter accidently knocked over one of my small plants and my hoover vacumn cleaner cleaned up the dirt completely without leaving a trace of dirt. I would recomend it to anyone.
