I received it as a gift and am very disappointed in it. It will not hold a charge; I have to recharge it daily and recently it completely failed and I am having a challenge in returning it, even though it is under warranty. The radio reception is terrible and the record feature doesn't work properly either. Now it could be that I just received a defective unit, but my experience with it doesn't encourage me to try it again. On the 10 point scale, I would rate it a 1( for very poor)

Hi - nice first review! Will make me consider buying it as the overseas aspect is something I hadn't thought about. What about recharging it? Does it come with international plugs or do you just need to use the regular adaptors? I know bits of the world have different power sources so oftentimes I end up with several things connecting to each other to recharge stuff! When writing reviews, it is very helpful when you refer to the product you are describing by its name , this is usually in your first set of thoughts(paragraph). When I bought this product, since I had never owned an MP3 player before, I didn't know what to expect. It had very good sound and was very easy to use. But . . . . It completely died after only a month and a half. And I mean completely!!! I've done everything to try to bring it back, but nothing works. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I would not recommend this product to anybody.
