Advantages: So easy to set up, connectivity, online in minutes Disadvantages: None, just make sure to keep that antennae up
...use to this day. Netgear is very simple to set up, and the software literally guides you through the entire process which takes only minutes. You can easily set your own security features and even set your own WEP and/or WPA key for added protection. It's narrow frame takes up very little space and with it's stand, can even be placed vertically for even more space. The indicator lights are clear and easy to understand, and the connection itself is ...

Advantages: Makes a great but expensive coaster Disadvantages: Signal Strength, Connectivity, Reliability you name it
I had to replace a router that went down after several years of service. Initially I replaced that one with a Belkin and after I returned that disaster I made the mistake of taking the advice of a gamer magazine and bought this Netgear. Lesson learned is never trust gamer magazine reviews. I don't know what the Super stands for but it sure isn't the range or strength of the signal. The customer service line was slightly helpful but only confirmed ... ...working properly. They just couldn't explain why it kept dropping my PC's off line and why playing my XBOX online was impossible. The unit constantly dropped it's signal and needed to be repeatedly reset in order to even work. I wouldn't give this one to my worst enemy. So, I bought a Linksys and now everything works great. ...

Advantages: Very fast speeds especially with streaming video Disadvantages: wireless technology used is still being worked on
My office has been begging for wi-fi to be setup for the longest time and the answer was always 'it's not secure'. Well, finally our networking guy found something that offers enough security that he feels comfortable in providing the office with wi-fi networking! This wireless router is not only sleek looking but it does it's part in keeping us secure from those hackers out there.
The speed from this wireless router is impeccable. It states that ... ...6 times further distance wi-fi access than 802.11g. The data transfer rate is 300 Mbps. Awesome coverage considering our office is not that small and I have yet to find a nook or office which doesn't have good reception. I'm in the IT field and in such I work with large files, streaming videos and other high resource files. I've yet to have anything to even come close to challenging the reception of this wireless router. To say the least, I'm impressed.

Advantages: Easy to setup, can connect four computers at once Disadvantages: When I first got it, it disconnected me a lot
I picked this wireless router over many others and for the most part I would say that I was satisfied, but when I first got it, it disconnected me a lot, but over time it has gotten better and now, after about a year of having it, i don't get disconnected too often. Also, i was very pleased that with it came easy to follow directions and I had it set up and ready to go in no time. And the fact that it can connect four computers to the internet at ...

Advantages: Great signal strength and small Disadvantages: Sometimes loses signal but not for long
...I'll explain why.
The Belkin router is a small compact box that has a pair of aerials on it that detects the signal to enable laptop users to go 'wireless' meaning they do not have to be plugged into their modem any longer and can sit in any room of their home whilst working on the laptop. This can depend on how good the signal strength is and the G plus is the medium range so allows the average home the capability to go in any room and still have ... ...The installation was very easy - literally it is a case of inserting the CD supplied into your laptop that you want to go wireless with and following the instructions. It is relatively fast to set up as long as you have the access to the net already in your home as it detects it and gives you the instructions to follow to then go fully wireless using your laptop. Once installed you never need to do anything with it as there are no buttons on it just ...
