The Brita 42629 Slim Pitcher with included replaceable filter has been in my refrigerator for about three months now and I think the family has really enjoyed it. It takes up very little room from sided to side and front to back however I have found it to be too tall for a few of the shelves in my old over/under fridge. Our household has owned a Pur FM3333 faucet Mount filter for approx 12 months. Owning one of these has made it possible to get great tasting water straight from the faucet saving refridgerater or counter top space. The only drawback that we have found is occasionally dish washing soap has come into contact with it and we have had soapy water instead of pure water. This is the 3rd type of water filter that I have owned and I have to say I am quite impressed with the quality of the water. I tested the water with my home tester and the water came out 95% pure - I have the classic pitcher and although I am very satisfied with the water cleanliness I do have a couple of areas that I am dissatisfied with.
