The Hp LaserJet 5 is an absolute workhorse. I have used one of these for years in my office. It prints about 600 pages every three months. We have never had it serviced or repaired and has had zero downtime. An Extra Capacity Toner Cartridge is also available for this B&W printer allowing me to get almost a year from one cartridge. I use this fax machine in my office and I have to say that it's one of the most irritating fax machines I have ever used. Yes it gets the job done on both the giving and receiving end of faxes and with the quality you'd expect from Canon. However, if you're planning to fax a document of more than one page, be prepared to get into a wrestling match with this machine as it tries to suck up three pages at once.
