I don't have many good things to say about this printer. I received this printer as part of a rebate for my MacBook laptop which should have told me it was not a quality printer. I had problems getting the printer to print anything despite following directions exactly. There are features for printing, scanning, copying, and printing photos. Even though we rarely shut this machine off it takes a minute or two to warm up before you can make a copy, and then it takes even longer to complete copying or faxing. I use this fax machine in my office and I have to say that it's one of the most irritating fax machines I have ever used. Yes it gets the job done on both the giving and receiving end of faxes and with the quality you'd expect from Canon.
