Review of COBY TF-DVD7060 by dorian151

Advantages: portable and reliable
Disadvantages: slightly fat?!

The COBY TF DVD 70 60 version is a very nice little player which can be very handy. From my experience with this product, I have used it enough to safely say, it is a good, reliable product. On an 8 hour flight to my holiday destination, I used my portable DVD player to watch many many movies and I just loved the quality of display, and sound / audio. It is a good looking little gadget, with a neat set of silver shiny buttons at the bottom, which ... Read review

I can see my movies now.
Review of Audiovox D1817 by Plum

Advantages: Small, portable.
Disadvantages: Sound and picture is not the best.

I've got of this in x - mas. This is a portable DVD player. You can play any movie you want to, like a regular DVD player. This devices comes with a flat screen and speakers, all in one thing. By that way it becomes very easy to transport. The image quality is not bad, but is not the best out there. The sound is not so bad either, but you can't put it too loud because it sounds like echoing. Is very easy to use, you just put the DVD in the try ... Read review

Reliable Easy to Carry Companion
Review of Philips DCP750 by Kimkyle

Advantages: Excellent Sound & Picture Quality, Cheap
Disadvantages: None

On my first use of Philips Portable DVD, I knew I have made the right decision to buy it. It has excellent picture quality which is an advantage to its' 7" size monitor, which makes viewing movies or favorite show easy, also an advantage is the quality of sound it produces, just the right quality not too loud yet not too soft. It has a long life lithium battery making it a great companion specially on long trips or long hour stop overs, easy to carry ...
...inside. You also have an option to store your favorite movie collection as it has also an SD card slot. Compared to high-priced portable DVDs', I consider this a VERY GOOD buy because of its economical price with specification close and almost matching with the high-priced brands. ... Read review

...When I saw the small guy,I also liked it,so I borrowed it from Bob to have a wonderful time. The picture quality is pretty good and it is good value for money. It is a pity that the screen is a little small,of course it would be nicer to have a bigger screen but you should pay more for a larger screen. For such reasonable price, the screen is ok. When I return it to my friend Bob,he says he is happy with the purchase and would recommend this piece ... Read review

This DVD Player Isn't Compatible With Newer iPods
Review of Audiovox D8000IP by bigwerd07

Advantages: Nice Quality Sound, Clear Picture, Good Price
Disadvantages: Doesn't Support New iPods

I got the Audiovox D8000IP about 1 month ago for my youngest son. I bought it with the intention of him using it during car rides and long trips, such as doctors visits and rides on the Seattle Ferry. I picked this particular model out because it was relatively cheap, it was video iPod capable, and I didn't need anything fancy. I purchased the player from amazon.com for 100 dollars. It arrived in 4 days and I quickly put it to use as I had to take ...
...got home, I called an Audiovox representative who nicely explained that the newer video iPod "classics" we not compatible due to Apple placing some kind of chip in them preventing such activities by anything except Apple products. Talk about a total bummer. I returned to Amazon, and to my surprise, they had written that the 60 and 80 GB models were not compatible. I didn't even bother to pay attention to that because I had a 160 GB model. So, I blame ... Read review
