I've got of this in x - mas. This is a portable DVD player. You can play any movie you want to, like a regular DVD player. This devices comes with a flat screen and speakers, all in one thing. On my first use of Philips Portable DVD, I knew I have made the right decision to buy it. It has excellent picture quality which is an advantage to its' 7" size monitor, which makes viewing movies or favorite show easy, also an advantage is the quality of sound it produces, just the right quality not too loud yet not too soft. I like this product very well, they are good to have when you are traveling and have kids, that way they are into the movie and not saying are we there yet. I wish that the batteries would stayed charged longer, but other that this is a very great product to have. If you don't own one you should think about it.
