We bought this TV in January at Best Buy just in time for the Super Bowl. It was a reasonable price. I have to say that I was very leary of buying a 50 inch televison. I felt that it would be too large. I couldn't have been more worng. I love it, and love the quality and sound. Not all channels are broadcast in HD and even those look good. I scheduled Best Buy to come out again waited another three weeks for the same technicain to tell me he didn't know he was coming out to do the repairs and so he hadn't even ordered parts. The NEC Plasma Sync 42VP5, is a brilliant monitor in terms of how it looks on the wall. It is ultimate in style and practicality. It looks nice in any room, and has a brilliant black shiny finish to it. On the resolution size. it does not deliver the sort of quality I would like to see from a plasma TV of this size.
