It works fine. It is a "must buy." They have various versions depending on hard drive size. Pros: Nice, vivid screen. Small and compact. Easy, clear words in the songs and in the menu. They have many choices in the menu for you to choose from. You can also set a volume limit if you think your child is listening to music way too loud. Cons: The instruction manual is very hard to read. The buttons are really small. And, you can't play movies on it. ...
...and drop them into the video folder. I have tried that, but it says that it doesn't support the file format. It doesn't say the file format in the manual!!! He can use it pretty good with him just being only twelve years old. He can down load his own music with out my help or even his mothers. It is very easy for you to use. This is a great mp3 player I must say, ultimate in looks, sound and reliability, it will never let you down. 8gb of storage is all a generally average person will need to store all their music on unless you are crazy and have about 20gb of the darn stuff like I do... I've owned this ipod for about a year now, since last september and it has never given me any problems other than freezing one time, and all I had to do to fix it was plug it into my computer, easy as that & that's a surprise after I've dropped it like 20 times.
