I upgraded from an older iPod mini to this model several months ago and have been very happy with it. It has a good battery life, even when watching videos. I opted for this model instead of the new iPod touch because of cost and how much memory you were getting, and I'm glad I did. This is an excellent product. It is much slimmer than the former generations, yet it is not too small. The screen is a nice size and the functions it offers are great. It has many things that I didn't realize it had - for instance, one day, I got to the trail to go for a run and realized I forgot my watch - there is a stop watch on the ipod! I bought this about a year ago, when it caught my attention while I was surfing on cnet. Because of the built-in speaker, it will probably seems a bit heavy if you are a big fan of nano technology. The lock botton is also the switch for turning it on and off.The sleek and glassy surface is fashionable and excellent with the touch screen.
