A new idea of built-in speaker
Review of Samsung YP-K5JAB 4 GB by azncrazygurl

Advantages: Bulit-in speaker, long battery life after charging
Disadvantages: might feel heavier than standard mp3 due to extra weight from speaker

I bought this about a year ago, when it caught my attention while I was surfing on cnet. Because of the built-in speaker, it will probably seems a bit heavy if you are a big fan of nano technology. The lock botton is also the switch for turning it on and off.The sleek and glassy surface is fashionable and excellent with the touch screen. The only con is that the it is easy to press for wrong command when using the touch screen, because the "buttons" ...
...if your finger carelessly brush pass another spot of the control screen, the menu will skip out or direct you onto some other page, therefore it is necessary to lock the screen when you r listening to songs. Also, although the dark background of the display screen looks beautiful with the blue rays, it becomes a problem when you use it under board daylight outdoor, you can barely read anything on the screen under sunlight. ... The Ipod Touch Substitute
Review of Samsung YP-P2JCB 8 GB by robertbob

Advantages: clear 3" touch, LCD widescreen screen
Disadvantages: no wifi capability

This samsung mp4 player is a great substitute for the ipod touch. It does infact have its own 3" widescreen LCD display which is also touch sensitive like the ipod, in addition the screen a very high resolution perfect for watching movies and videos in a 16:9 aspect view. It is equipped with its own built in FM-radio and even has bluetooth 2.0 which can be used to transfer music to other bluetooth devices, but to use bluetooth 2.0 headphones included. ... Read review

Solid iPod upgrade
Review of Apple iPod 80 GB by kimknees

Advantages: value, screen quality
Disadvantages: none

I upgraded from an older iPod mini to this model several months ago and have been very happy with it. It has a good battery life, even when watching videos. I opted for this model instead of the new iPod touch because of cost and how much memory you were getting, and I'm glad I did. The video quality is very good for the small screen, and is great for long airplane trips. The On-the-go feature is alright, I wish there were easier ways to create new ... Read review

Excellent iPod!!
Review of Apple iPod touch 8 GB by chrislim7

Advantages: Many features, WiFi feature, all touchscreen (I don't know if this is an advantage)
Disadvantages: Pay for updates, battery life, useless light sensor, typing a bit hard

The 4th version of iPod: Shuffle, Nano, Classic, then the Touch. The Touch is like the other iPods, except the fact that the screen is touchscreen. You could watch videos, listen music, browse your contact and photos, browse the web, check your mail, go on YouTube, and so much more. The design is sleek and beautiful, and of course it fits in your pocket. There is an update coming up, and in the update, you can now download 3rd party applications ...
...that YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE UPDATES unlike the iPhone!!!! But other then that, it's good. It has a ultra-small speaker which you can barely hear for your timers and alarms. You can't play music through it though. It also has Safari, and to me it is very easy to use and browse through. The iPod Touch connects to the internet through WiFi only. It has a small light sensor on the top, which is basically useless and doesn't do it's work. Typing is O.K., ... Read review
