I bought this about a year ago, when it caught my attention while I was surfing on cnet. Because of the built-in speaker, it will probably seems a bit heavy if you are a big fan of nano technology. The lock botton is also the switch for turning it on and off.The sleek and glassy surface is fashionable and excellent with the touch screen. I upgraded from an older iPod mini to this model several months ago and have been very happy with it. It has a good battery life, even when watching videos. I opted for this model instead of the new iPod touch because of cost and how much memory you were getting, and I'm glad I did.
