I bought this for my husband for Christmas 2007. I liked the size and ease of recharge. I also liked the amount of memory. The screen is too small for me. It's priced well. While we were in Rome, Italy, we used it to watch some down loaded movies in our hotel room on our laptop. CNN and BBC were the only English stations on TV. I bought this primarily because it has a built in fm tuner. For some reason it seemed really galing to me that other brands had the nerve to make us get an attachment to listen to the radio. She let one of my daughters use it and it was really simple. It was very easy to download music to it. It is very small to hold and to carry around in your pocket too. I've owned this ipod for about a year now, since last september and it has never given me any problems other than freezing one time, and all I had to do to fix it was plug it into my computer, easy as that & that's a surprise after I've dropped it like 20 times.
