At $295 and featuring Linux Operating System, you cannot go wrong. It works right out of the box and is pre loaded with productivity software (Open Office), media explorers / players (Picture organizer, movie player, music library organizer and player), Learning software and games. It is very customizeable, too. It is small and light, and very portable. The size of a standard hardcover book, it fits nearly anywhere; totes, messenger bags, briefcase, ... ...don't expect this little jewel to fulfill all your needs. It does not have an optical drive and the built in SSD is only 2 GB. The operating system and applications take 1.7 GB. It is great as a second, highly mobile computer. But you have options for storage, such as USB drives and SD cards. In my personal view Acer provides the best leaptop.Easy to carry,does not need any connectivity through wires,everything is inbuilt.Talking about the screen it comes with 14.4inch wide screen and 1.7 height and weighs about 6.2lbs.It has the capacity to support 1GB eam and can be extended to 2GB,it consists of 160GB hard disc drive.This is the main reason why people may buy coz all leaptops cannot provide us the same extendable memory space.This ...

HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s
This is only my second lappie and the first for some years and I have been delighted with its slim profile, excellent quality screen (videos, YouTube and pictures appear very realistic) and the speed with which it recharges. I love the HP brand and having looked at other makes I came back to my first choice as I know the customer support available is excellent and I have never been disappointed with an HP product.
... ...bigger one can be bought and as there are three power settings that you can choose you can decide how to utilise the available power. The memory is ample for pretty much all ones needs although it has come pre-loaded with several programs I am probably not going to need, so the boot-up time is a little longer than I anticipated.
The internal speakers leave a bit to be desired as anything above a low sound becomes fuzzy, but you can plug in a headset ...

I have a Compaq Presario desktop PC that I really love so I decided to purchase this laptop. I think the price was great, which is one thing I love about the Presario; it's a great value computer. For basic use, this is an excellent buy. I use it more than my desktop.
