Not my type of Apple
Review of Apple MacBook Air - Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - RAM 2 GB - HDD 64 GB SSD - GMA X3100 - WLAN : 802.11 a/b/g/n (draft), Bluetooth 2.1 EDR - MacOS X 10.5 - 13.3" Widescreen TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) - camera by Socialism

Advantages: Very Thin, Powerful for something so thin.
Disadvantages: Very Thin, Overated, Expensive, Breakable.

At first I thought the Macbook Air was pretty cool. It's pretty powerful with it's Core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz Processor and 2 GB of RAM, but it's just to thin. If you drop this think just once it'll probably shatter in half. It doesn't even have a DVD as far as I remember, and with Blue-Ray soon about to take over you won't be able to play your favorite movies or games on this thing. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's just to slim for my own personal liking. ...
...light and portable. I think that the MacBook Air is getting to much attention. It's overrated just like the Ipod. The Iphone is a different story since it's pretty cool Overall, the Macbook Air is an OK device. It's just to small and doesn't have a DVD drive. There are other possibilities. Just because it's thin doesn't make it very good for portability. It could break pretty easily if dropped . It's best to keep thing at a medium size in my own ... Read review

Mac is great
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 13.3" TFT by rob760

Advantages: Will not get any virus'
Disadvantages: none

gesture controls are very useful; remote optical drive makes living without a built-in drive much easier. The bad: Very limited connectivity; slower than other MacBooks; SSD hard-drive option is ridiculously expensive and standard hard drive is small; battery is not replaceable. The bottom line: The design is revolutionary, but Apple's MacBook Air will appeal to a smaller, more specialized audience than the standard MacBook, thanks to a stripped-down ... Read review

The classic MacBook (circa 2006) is still rockin
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by PDXPRChick

Advantages: Stylish, fast, portable, light
Disadvantages: Gets dirty easily, could use a longer battery life

I've had my MacBook since December of 2006 and it's still works great. It's a lot faster than my HP PC desktop at work (which stresses me out it's so slow sometimes) and it just looks and feels cooler. I also love its ability to look up any wireless signal and connect, without having to go into any control panels or setup wizards. Graphics are great - really easy to watch DVDs, videos, etc. I also love the programs it came with like Garage Band and ...
...of dirty easily. iChat is also really cool because MacBook comes with a built-in web cam that allows you to see your friends while you're chatting... Overall, I love it and couldn't live without it! Oh and it was super cheap (like $900) because I was a student when I bought it and Mac gives a $100 discounts (or something like that) for students. ... Read review

Advantages: Sim design
Disadvantages: No optical drive

I bought the Macbook Air about four monts ago. I have been very pleased with my Mac book Air. It has worked perfect since I first turned it on. Migrated from my old Mac Book without a hitch. Booted the Mac Book Air and everything was there even parallels and windows with all my windows programs intact. For storage, this MacBook Air comes with an 80 GB Parallel ATA hard disk drive (4200 RPM). The 2 GB of PC5300 DDR2 RAM (two SO-DIMMs of 1024 MB) has ... Read review

Review of Apple MacBook - Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz - RAM 1 GB - HDD 160 GB - DVD±RW (±R DL) - GMA X3100 - Gigabit Ethernet - WLAN : Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, 802.11 a/b/g/n (draft) - MacOS X 10.5 - 13.3" Widescreen TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) - camera by colosimo

Advantages: Speed
Disadvantages: Few Programs

I have recently bought i Macbook. I was worried about the new operating system. I got my mac and was excited about the awsome speed and never having to worry about viruses anymore. But, most programs and softwares don't work on the macbook. I dislike the fact that the mac cannot run many programs. But, i like the fact that the programs that do work with the mac work speedily and great. The mac rarely gets viruses and has an awsome start up speed. ... Read review
