Advantages: Very light weight Disadvantages: One USB port, Not able to swap out battery
A friend of mine has one of these and I've used it a couple of times. It is so stylish and a true work of art that it's a pleasure to use it. My friend is a real serious computer user and gave up using a tablet style laptop when the Macbook Air became available. When asked what he likes about it, he said *It's perfect.* He really appreciates the light weight since he frequently carries it around all day going to meetings. His main complaint is that ... ...it needs recharging. He's also discovered a limitation with the one USB port. The port has only enough power for running one device such as the DVD drive. If he uses a USB hub to gain additional ports, he has to use a powered USB hub to have sufficient power for both a DVD drive and say a mouse. The two-tone Sony Vaio FZ may not be as staid or as dull as your standard corporate Wintel laptop, but some of the design elements left us disappointed. For one thing, the black plastic on the keyboard, especially where it meets the magnesium alloy shell, felt a bit flimsy and creaky to us, and yielded when we pressed down. Also, though we tend to be extra-careful with our review units, the top outer shell of the laptop picked up some scuffs and ... ...a dedicated laptop case. We like the relatively thin size and light weight of the machine, though this won't be any competition for design like we see on the Macbook Pro, but even looking around the case there are some design flaws. ASUS provides a handful of configuration programs, but the two most noteworthy pieces of included software are ASUS' L ifeFrame3 and SmartLogon. Both take advantage of the built-in webcam; LifeFrame3 allows you to record videos, while SmartLogon uses facial recognition technology for an additional layer of security - above and beyond the integrated fingerprint reader. ...after owning an older generation acer which was awful. This one couldnt be more different.
Its features include an ' Intel celeron M 1.3GHz ', 'Acer Invilink IEEE 802.11b/g' an amazing '40gb hardrive', an awsome 'dvd-dual drive' and, finally, in my opinion the most awe inspiring thing of them all, a stunning 15'' lcd monitor.

Advantages: fingerprint authentication, fast, good sized screen Disadvantages: heavy, battery life is not very long
...There's no need to be wary of the Lenovo brand. One minor complaint that I have is it seems like the battery life is awfully short and the laptop is a bit heavy which makes it annoying (at least for me as a woman) to carry around. ...
