I just got this TV and am very happy with it so far. It is a big upgrade for me and I would suggest anyone still with an old style tube tv to upgrade. This is a 40 inch and is just the right size. I would be careful not get one that is too big because it will look awkward and out of place in your room. ...with specific configuration and this Sony BRAVIA KDL-52W4100 match with it perfectly. My wife always admire things which is different and stylish so do I. ...it is compatible with other sony products and has a whole lot of different hook ups in the back. The remote is great and simple to use. It has all the buttons that are most used in the same area. I like this television because it can be hooked straight up to my computer as a second screen. Disadvantages: Sound quality and volume power weak

The Samsung LN-S3241D is our first LCD TV. Bought 2 years ago and so far we are still pleased with it. Great looking unit; easily wall-mounted; versatile; and decent (although not fantastic) speaker sound. TV volume is also on the weak side. We have to set it 65-75% volume to be able to hear clearly from 12 feet away.We also encountered a High Def problem with Direct TV -- who indicates they have a compatability problem with Samsung. ...chip for the Direct TV HTML feed. Instead, we were advised to use the composite video connections. Not sure whether that is the truth, or a Direct TV "urban legend".
