What a great HD TV. I bought this TV about six months ago for my bedroom and love it. It has a very sharp picture in high definition and a really good standard picture (not too grainy) for other channels, someting not very common on this large of a TV. I have it hooked up via HDMI to my blu-ray player and the picture is unbelievable. I like to use the TV's theater mode at all times which provides a slightly darker image that warms the backgroung ...
...that I have found on TV's in this price range which makes watching widescreen movies and SD TV less distracting. I bought this Vizio TV this past February. So far, so good! It has a very nice picture, and the sound is great. It was pretty easy to install as well. I was a little worried buying a "cheaper" TV brand, but it was well worth the money. For the value, this Vizio TV is great! My in-laws gave us this TV as a Christmas gift. We absolutely love it! I didn't really want a large-screen, because all the ones I had seen were really distorted, but this one is awesome. There is no distortion, and the images are really clear. We don't get HD programming, but even without it the picture is beautiful. DVD's are also really clear. ...picture quality, as boasted by Sony truly is amazing. Often with TV's this size you lose some quality but here you get even better quality. The picture remains good even on the most action packed scenes in films. The sound quality is also very good even at maximum volume (which is incredibly loud). The suberb picture that the Hisense LCD 1504US offers is high definition.
