LOVE LOVE LOVE my 22" Dell monitor. I've had this monitor for a little over a year and I just love it! I use it for gaming, photoshopping and everything else. I am amazed by the quality of this monitor. The vibrancy and colors are so true to life (you practically forget it's a monitor). It's got a nice screen that is non reflective. The Dell E198WFP is a very good monitor with brilliant graphics and screen quality. It has a very nice desin, instead of black, a nice appealing, shiny grey with very bright silver buttons and an eye catching dell logo on the bottom in the middle! The stand is also very good, it is not some humongous ugly looking "chair" that looks as if it has been sellotaped to the back like various TVs I have owned, but it is sophisticated and has a good design. ... I just upgraded my PC with a new Samsung SyncMaster 740N Flat screen monitor. I was using a good old CRT monitor and this is my first LCD display! Its a good 17 inches entry level LCD monitor which I found comfortably within my budget. I work on designs & animations. I needed a screen which would display good colors. ...colors and distort the look and feel for my designs. This LCD monitor also has 'on screen' settings for fine tuning it to your needs with little feather touch buttons at the bottom of the screen. SyncMaster has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels which gives me a huge work area avoiding a lot of horizontal and vertical scroll, and yes, it saves a lot of space too! I recommend this LCD. ...time sneak a touch or two. In comparison to the similar Acer model my father owns the HP is a much better product. One feature I haven't figured out is how to permanently set the volume on 100 percent instead of the default 50 percent, no biggie though. ... Read review
