Dell UltraSharp 1800 FP
Review of Dell UltraSharp 1800FP by

Advantages: Great Resolution, Auto Adjust Feature
Disadvantages: None
Dell UltraSharp 1800 FP is an eighteen inch flat panel display that is truly breathtaking. I have the pleasure of staring at two to four of these at work all day long. They have been on my desk for over two years and are still impressive to me as the day they came out. The screen brightness has held up as well, something I was initially concerned about. Adjustable buttons on the front allow for quick and easy screen adjustments, while the Auto-Adjust ...

Pleasant enough for every day use!
Review of Dell UltraSharp 1708FP by
Carolinos
Advantages: Flat screen, it pivots up and down, nice clear display
Disadvantages: Wobbles a bit on its little stand sometimes
I use this dear monitor every work day so feel I know it pretty well. It has several advantages which include its ability to pivot up and down - quite important for both the tall and vertically challenged amongst us.
Also, if, as I do, you tend to sometimes gather a small throng of people around your monitor to show them something on the screen, whether work-related or purely entertaining, then those on the outer edges of such a gathering may see ... ...sitting directly opposite - the advantages of a modern flat screen monitor (much better than having to turn it around to show the display to each individual and thus over time, no doubt weakening the cables that have to turn with it).
The stand of the monitor looks rather fragile but supports the screen fine - it stands pretty solidly on my desk although it does wobble quite a bit if I push my chair too hard towards my desk!
There's the option ...

Master in it's Class
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 740N by
buzzmaker
Advantages: Looks Sleek, Works Very Well, Saves Space
Disadvantages: I found none
I just upgraded my PC with a new Samsung SyncMaster 740N Flat screen monitor. I was using a good old CRT monitor and this is my first LCD display!
Its a good 17 inches entry level LCD monitor which I found comfortably within my budget. I work on designs & animations. I needed a screen which would display good colors. This has got a 600:1 contrast ratio with 8ms response time which removes blurring from movies.
Unlike some other LCDs, ... ...colors and distort the look and feel for my designs. This LCD monitor also has 'on screen' settings for fine tuning it to your needs with little feather touch buttons at the bottom of the screen.
SyncMaster has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels which gives me a huge work area avoiding a lot of horizontal and vertical scroll, and yes, it saves a lot of space too!
I recommend this LCD. A Great Buy! ...

Excellent Monitor
Review of HP W1907 by
rprmsr
Advantages: Great picture resolution and size
Disadvantages: difficulty permanently resetting the default setting
...time sneak a touch or two. In comparison to the similar Acer model my father owns the HP is a much better product. One feature I haven't figured out is how to permanently set the volume on 100 percent instead of the default 50 percent, no biggie though. ...

Advantages: Ultra Slim Design
Disadvantages: n/a
I bought ViewSonic 19" VA926 LCD for upgrading my Samsung SyncMaster 750s CRT monitor that service me about 5 years. I choose ViewSonic 19" VA926 because that is a good value for money, cheap enough for me. The ViewSonic 19" VA926 LCD displays good taste while enhancing my personal computer. Some time I am using my ViewSonic 19" VA926 LCD for my Acer laptop. I love optisync digital and analog input feature that allow me to connected my TV tunner ...
