This is an excellent system for the price. You will swear you are in a movie theatre! The bass is awesome. It has a stereo tuner and can play CDS as well as DVDs. I have a more expensive and bigger system in my family room but this one does sound better. I am often told to "TURN IT DOWN!!" It is easy to set up and the speaker come with built in hangers. I purchased this kind of home theater system six weeks ago. It was really easy to install and did not take no long time either. It comes with five speakers and a subwoofer. I installed the speakers all around the room and when I played the tv, the sound was nice and clear. It went up so loud I could hear it all the way through my home. I just got this home theater system for my fiance' for fathers day this past weekend. He absolutly loves it and is thrilled! Yay! Score! We watched a movie with it and its worked great.
