These are some very nice speakers to have hooked up for your tv. They give out very clear sound and is also static free. There is no static in the sound at all. I have them placed all around my living room for a nice sound system and it is so nice especially when I am sitting in there wacthing horror movies on line. The problem is Coby makes the customer pay for shipping to return the item AND requires a $12 money order with the return to ship out a replacement, with no option to replace it with something better. ...a response. When I called Coby direct in Long Island, NY at 800-688-2629, they were utterly useless and only gave me a 718-412-4163 to call the Coby return department in Mastis (sp?), NY. Of course you only get a recording every time you call that doesn't even recognize the number as Coby, and simply says "leave a message".
