Big ears, best pick
Review of Sony MDR V700DJ - headphones by
Hornmaster
Advantages: Durability, quality, look, sound, features
Disadvantages: relatively big (minor disadvantag)
Since some years, I have been working more or less as a DJ. Here is my experience about my second headphones. My Usage
There are two ways I use this headphone. One is at home, listening to movies or music. The other usage is to mix records live. Advantages
The headphones are big enough to cover the ear. But they are not completely closed, anyway, they have an excellent coise cancellation. Like that, you can hear your pre-mix channel ... ...its 30 mm driver. The cord is a spiral cord with 5 meters length - long enogh to have a drink at the bar and still be in touch with your mix. Another good thing is that you can turn around one of the earpads and like that, you can listen to the music on only one ear very comfortably. Many other DJ headphones don't have this feature. These headphone rock!
Review of Bose TriPort In-Ear Headphones - headphones by
hstam
Advantages: Comfortabe and great sounds quality
Disadvantages: None
My boss gave me these headphones as a gift. I was very excited to ditch my cheap one and figured anything could be better and figured that these would be really nice - and i wasn't disappointed. They even come with a nice little case so you can keep them in a safe, clean spot. Since I've purchased them as ...

Good price for a great set of headphones!
Review of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro - headphones by
MaestroRage
Advantages: Good sound leak ratio/sound blocking.
Disadvantages: A bit hard to keep wearing for long periods of time.
The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro is a very good quality headset for the price. They do a very good job blocking outside noise and they also keep from leaking sound.
The adjustable and rotative cups make them flexible and easy to store away.
They are also as mentioned in the description very useful for monitoring in musical compositions as the headphones do not hype the lows and highs for you, distorting the sound.
The cups are cushioned and are quite ... ...time. The firm grip the headband holds pushes the cups rather hard against your sides, which contributes to less sound leak and blocks out more sound, but it gets uncomfortable rather quickly. I for one can not use them for more then an hour straight without having to take them off for about 5 minutes.
They are however without a doubt, worth the salt you spill on them.
Summary: These headsets are perfect for semi-pro monitoring on music and for ...
