...to have some issues that Sony claims to have fixed with a firmware update. One of them is the route calculation and recalculation times. IMO this is the major flaw with the unit. While not unbearable, both the calculating route and recalculation are slower than other units. I bought my TomTom Go 720 about a year ago. I have had great luck using it and really like it alot. It is very easy to use and the menu navigation is very easy. The screen is easy to see night or day with the great feature to change the colors at night to prevent night blindness. This GPS unit is so easy to use and program. I loved the touch screen, it made it very easy to plug in the street names or even search for a restaurant or theatre, and it was perfect for a long road trip we took and worth having for that. The voice navigation also was a great feature as most GPS units and I liked that it could be changed or turned off as well.
