The Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx is the extended Version of the GPSMAP 60 Cx. While the case is same size and format, the CSx shows up with a barometric altimeter and an electronic compass. I use it for several purposes. Traveling statistics, autorouting, topo/directions and waypoint navigation are those functions I mainly use. The intuitive interface helps to use the software without having to read the manual.
A basemap is installed ex factory, with the ... ...on 'bad roads'). Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't offer a mounting for motocycles, so I had to get a 3rd party retainer from Europe (Touratech)
The CSx 60 runs with 2AA batteries. Using powercables (not delivered), the device is able to run with external powersources (carbatteries) and is also able to deal with AA-rechargable batteries (has to be activated if you want to use it). I bought my TomTom Go 720 about a year ago. I have had great luck using it and really like it alot. It is very easy to use and the menu navigation is very easy. The screen is easy to see night or day with the great feature to change the colors at night to prevent night blindness. ...lost my maps when updating the software and a call to Garmin had an update DVD on its way to me 2nd day air. They would have updated it immediately online if I had broadband. I highly reccomend this product, buy this and you won't be disappointed. Worth the price! ...

This GPS unit is so easy to use and program. I loved the touch screen, it made it very easy to plug in the street names or even search for a restaurant or theatre, and it was perfect for a long road trip we took and worth having for that. The voice navigation also was a great feature as most GPS units and I liked that it could be changed or turned off as well. Also a great feature is that it works in the USA and Canada and you can download maps onto ... ...voice navigator. I also liked that it has a search feature & Icons that show you where certain things are nearby like for finding specific businesses or hospitals, gas stations etc. Also liked how it informs you of toll's and can give you a alternate route to go if you want to avoid them. ...since sliced bread. The Garmin nüvi 200 is a life saver. The preloaded maps make it as easy as turning it on and going. The touch screen makes things simple and there are many different features that make it easy to use. One feature that saves time is the "favorites" folder. On my garmin my home location is programmed in so whenever i need to get home, its just one or two clicks away. Also a "recently found" folder lets you see your last few destinations ... ...restaurants, stores, and other areas of interest. Going to garmin.com allows you to download games, maps, and different vehicle icons for your garmin (must go out and buy a chord for this... $15 at wal-mart). All in all this is a great product that won't break the bank. ...
