Advantages: Easy to use, dishwasher safe, great price.
Disadvantages: Not too attractive to leave on the counter.

I bought one of these for my wife about six months ago and it really comes in handy. She can make nice creamy slaw for me and use it to chop up carrots and all for her stew. The sound is pretty loud though. Every time she uses it she makes our daughter jump. It is very easy to use and pretty easy to clean. ...I will definately purchase another Black & Decker food processor if I ever need to replace this one. I cook a lot and this has really helped cut down on prep time for those recipes that require a lot of chopping such as soups and stews and I don't waste any vegetables like before I used to throw away the bottom of whatever it was that I was chopping because I squared and chopped them in my hand the way my mother showed me when I was younger. I purchased this food processor with the intent of using it for convenience. I though it'd be nice to have a small one to do things like grate cheese for a meal, or quickly chop vegetables. I liked that it was small, so it wouldn't take up much cabinet space. It was easy enough to put it together. It was a bit difficult to start, as the bowl and lid had to be lined up just so.
