This is a good quality camera for the money. I have owned it for awhile now and have never had any issues with it. The 5 mega pixels is enough for any situation that an amateur photographer may have. I have used it numerous times to take pictures of family and friends, still pictures and have also, on occasion, taken some moving photos and all have turned out good. Mine has signs of wear on it from the occasional drop and some rugged use but has never missed a beat. The only drawback would be the fact that is runs on (2) AA batteries.
