A620!
Review of Canon PowerShot A620 by celestiel

Advantages: the swivel lcd screen
Disadvantages: none

The Canon A620 was my 1st digital camera. I really like it alot. The main reason I went with this particular Canon camera is the swivel lcd screen. The swivel screen comes in handy in so many ways especially for a hobbiest like me. It allows you the flexability in creativity in your shots. Another reason I chose this is the Manual settings. It gave me the chance to tinker around on the manual settings to see how it is. I learned I really enjoy photography ...
...camera. I now own a Canon 30d slr and it's awesome! Now for the reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 is because mainly because the color of the photos were not as accurate as I would like it to have been. It seemed more yellowish in color. Photoshop took care of that. It's not as small as the newer pocket cameras but it's great for a hobbiest and it has 7 megapixels for great quality photos and the ability to crop! ... Read review

The Canon A570 IS experience
Review of Canon PowerShot A570 IS by zantaz

Advantages: Versatile, good auto presets and plenty of manual settings, image stabilisation, face tracking available
Disadvantages: Image stabilisation less effective under low light, flash quickly saps battery strength

Ah...first camera I bought myself. Had it for a few months, and all's well so far. Almost. On the bright side, this camera offers lots of features for occasional snapshots which I use it primarily for. I especially like the landscape/scenery mode, managed to get almost perfect color reproduction and detail in outdoor shots on bright, sunny days. For serious tweaking, it offers manual controls like aperture, speed and exposure settings but I've rarely ...
...have presets that cover most situations too. The optical image stabilization is a big plus, and I found it to be very effective provided you have good enough lighting. One thing I experienced is that if you press the button halfway too long when focusing, the image stabilisation won't work as effectively, even in adequate lighting and fairly slow-moving / static objects. Face tracking is fast and accurate most of the time. However, if you prefer ... Read review

Not good for taking pictures
Review of Canon PowerShot A550 by livingdeadgirl

Advantages: light, flash
Disadvantages: blurry pictures

This is a cool looking camera and it is very light to lift up and take pictures. It has so many features and functions. It has a zoom in and out feature that i great for taking up close photos. It does not have to use much battery at all. It actually last for a while without having to replace the batteries. The only bad thing is that the pictures do not take or come out as clearly as I would have thought. They are not clear but blurry for some reason. ... Read review

Amazing Camera!!
Review of Canon PowerShot A620 by Chariumelle

Advantages: Nice quality, quick flash, nice display
Disadvantages: NONE

This camera is one of the best cameras I have used. I love photography, and this camera certainly helped my career by being simply amazing and taking clear-quality pictures. Along with taking pictures of good quality, this camera has a nice-sized display and many flash settings, though it doesn't get confusing. It also doesn't eat up battery as much as most other cameras. It has helped me save memories with my friends and family as well as kick off ... Read review
