Advantages: Beautiful Design, Nice Touch Screen, and lots of features Disadvantages: No Picture Texts!!, too expensive, no insurance
I needed a new cell phone after my Blackberry 8700c was thrown into a wall and broken into little pieces (Dont ask!) I knew the iPhone was the newest and coolest phone to have. I usually don't buy into all the hype, but I decided to go for it. I purchased the iPhone from AT&T and starting to mess around with it. After getting the basics down, I got a case for it and was on my way. I must say that the first thing I was not happy about was the fact ... ...a major disappointment. The second thing I wasn't happy about was the price of the phone. Almost 700 dollars for a phone is bank breaking!!! But, I must admit, the phone was pretty cool. There are so many thing you can do with this phone!! I especially like the tv shows!! The touchscreen is nice because of the controls are not spaced too close together. But alas, this rose does have a thorn. I couldn't believe it, but this phone is unable to send ...

Advantages: Excellent resolution screen, Nice memory size, decent buttons, decent quality camera Disadvantages: Games/apps have to be d/led over phone network to be installed, subpar quality speaker
In the past, I have been pleased with Samsung phones. Not the highest end phones, but dependable and seemingly well made. I had my eye on this phone for a while before I bought it. Pros: Great looking screen. Best I've seen, without a doubt, for this price level of phone. (free-$80) Nice sounds when navigating the phone. Feels substancial when held. Has 30 Meg built in memory, with a micro SD slot, which I have a 1 gig SD card in. (Small print in ... ...SD card. I was about to buy a 2 gig before I read this, but 1 gig should be enough for me) This is a great phone if you do a lot of text messaging or games. The 2.0 megapixal camera works pretty well. The pictures aren't as clear as my old 2.1 MP sony camera, but very good for a camera phone. There are a lot of settings you can set for the phone, and video. The battery seems to have a good life. I don't talk too much on it, and only had to charge ...

NOKIA 6300
Having always bought/used Nokia phones I am ashamed to say that my current cell is a Sony Ericsson (see other review of it!). However, I recently had to borrow a cell as I had left mine at home and I really felt as if I was coming home as the immediate feel of the Nokia 6300, despite is high-tech finish, is one of familiarity. Despite being a tad backward when it comes to electronics I barely needed coaching on using this lovely little ... ...the central button in the middle of a metal square on the front of the cell. You then move to choose the particular function by pressing on the top/bottom/right/left sides of the selection "square" (Nokia calls this the navigation key) and your choice of option is then made by again pressing the button in the middle of it.
The menu options are, as always, very instinctive icons (you can choose just icons or icons with word explanation) and the sub-menus ...
