In the past, I have been pleased with Samsung phones. Not the highest end phones, but dependable and seemingly well made. I had my eye on this phone for a while before I bought it. The 2.0 megapixal camera works pretty well. The pictures aren't as clear as my old 2.1 MP sony camera, but very good for a camera phone. Disadvantages: Don't always hear the initial lower level of the progressive ring tone volume.

I have had this phone for a year now, and love it. The sound quality is excellent, even on speaker. The 1.3mp camera takes very nice pictures and videos that have saved me when I've forgotten my camera at home. And the mp3 sound quality is good enough to not need to carry my ipod around with me all the time. This is the most durable cell phone I have ever used. Three and a half years after purchasing it, the phone is still working perfectly. I've thrown this phone, dropped it, fallen on it, and had several other accidents. The mini screen on the front cracked but still functioned perfectly - no water damage or blurred picture or anything.
