Terrible phone. The people at the verizon wireless store told me that this was an upgrade over the 8600. I actually bought the 8600 and used it for 25 days, and then swapped it for free and used the 8700. I should have stuck with the 8600. The 8700 is made with metal, so what??? One of my work buddies has this type of phone that he bought not too long ago and he really likes it. It gets very good reception and signal just about any where. He says that it is able to store alot of contacts in the phone and you can even you can carry it around inside your pocket. The ring tones are very nice and the volume can go up very loud. The first time I saw this phone I was like, "DUDEE, I gotta get that!" This phone right here...awesome right? Well, yes and no.
