Review of JVC GR D750 by
poohbearwall
Advantages: picture, sound, light
Disadvantages: none
This is a very nice light weight camcorder to have for recording your special family moments or even events. It is very reliable to use and to capture nice things. It has some nice unique features and functions to use for the perfect movie that you make. It captures every thing that you are trying to get on film without leaving certain things out. It is nice looking on the out side as well. The movie quality comes out very nice and clear and the ...

Everio MG-155
Review of JVC Everio GZ-MG155 by
freeann2
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: None
I just purchased this camera last month and have used it many times. The controls are easy to use and the pictures are sharp and clear. The videos are simple to burn to DVD, back up to my computer hard drive, share in e-mails or attach to the television for viewing. I also like the feature of being able to easily switch to still shots. Having the hard drive eliminates the need of having back-up memory cards although it will accept a standard SD memory ...

Good camera for its price
Review of JVC Everio GZ-MG130 by
ovba785s
Advantages: Price, Quality, Format, Capacity, Weight
Disadvantages: Battery
The I bought this noon in Fnac to 379 euros. The charge of Image and Sound me before it was recommended that the Sony, and Sony what the cost 20 euros more but had the same characteristics. I've been recording videos all day indoors, outdoors yet, but indoor record very well. Recall that is a chamber of 379 euros, not 1500 euros, therefore, the picture quality is in line with its price. Let us not wait to see pictures type The Lord of The Rings or ... ...that recorded very well. With its 30 GB hard drive there is no problem to burn anything, highest quality in over 7 hours, so spare. The battery lasts 1 hour and a half or perhaps less, it's best to buy another more capacity. The screen looks great, it's easy to handle and the 16:9 format recording is a marvel because it seems you're filming a movie theater. You can also burn with standard 4:3 format. The software that includes the camera is not bad, ...

Great camera, buy extra batteries
Review of Sony Handycam DCR TRV460 by
rprmsr
Advantages: Easy to use picture touch screen & great picture quality
Disadvantages: Batteries run-out quickly and still picture capability is poor quality
Great camera overall. The still digital picture capability is not very good quality, so we never use it. The videos are great quality in all conditions. It has even held up at the beach three times. The battery runs out quickly so I would recommend buying a back-up. The color touch screen makes it easy to navigate through the functions and easy to view your filming. It is simple to play/edit your videos. The removal of tapes is fairly easy as the ...

Small handycam-Not too bad for the price
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR45 by
greekmiss
Advantages: Small, lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Software/Editing limitations, should buy extras to get the most out of it
...good is that?
The Sony Handycam DCR SR45 is one of the handycams that I was researching and have found that it really isn't as great as I would have expected from Sony. Sony is my preferred brand when it comes to televisions but it seems that most people have something to gripe about when it comes to this handycam.
First for a few facts about this Sony handycam: The SR45 is fairly lightweight, at about 3 pounds, and is a breeze to hold while filming ... ...is saved to a 30 Gigabyte hard disc which is quite large. The optical lens zooms to 40x and the digital zooms to an amazing 2000x. The viewscreen is 2.7 inches in diameter which isn't too bad. Sound is captured with a built in microphone that has built in 5.1 surround sound recording capabilities
Now for some of the downsides...
The zoom is truly amazing, but the more that you use the digital zoom the worse the quality of the picture once the filming ...
