dorian151
Advantages: all
Disadvantages: none
The Canon DC330, is a brilliant camera with an amazing quality of output once you connect it to a computer. I really liked using this when I went on holiday, becuase it captured all of the memorys I wanted to keep, in high definition picture quality with amazing sound output for a camcorder!
I would reccomend buying this camcorder to anyone. Why? Everyone will have at least some memories that they want to keep with them, and this is just the beast ...

Great camera, buy extra batteries
Review of Sony Handycam DCR TRV460 by
rprmsr
Advantages: Easy to use picture touch screen & great picture quality
Disadvantages: Batteries run-out quickly and still picture capability is poor quality
Great camera overall. The still digital picture capability is not very good quality, so we never use it. The videos are great quality in all conditions. It has even held up at the beach three times. The battery runs out quickly so I would recommend buying a back-up. The color touch screen makes it easy to navigate through the functions and easy to view your filming. It is simple to play/edit your videos. The removal of tapes is fairly easy as the ...

Small handycam-Not too bad for the price
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR45 by
greekmiss
Advantages: Small, lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Software/Editing limitations, should buy extras to get the most out of it
...good is that?
The Sony Handycam DCR SR45 is one of the handycams that I was researching and have found that it really isn't as great as I would have expected from Sony. Sony is my preferred brand when it comes to televisions but it seems that most people have something to gripe about when it comes to this handycam.
First for a few facts about this Sony handycam: The SR45 is fairly lightweight, at about 3 pounds, and is a breeze to hold while filming ... ...is saved to a 30 Gigabyte hard disc which is quite large. The optical lens zooms to 40x and the digital zooms to an amazing 2000x. The viewscreen is 2.7 inches in diameter which isn't too bad. Sound is captured with a built in microphone that has built in 5.1 surround sound recording capabilities
Now for some of the downsides...
The zoom is truly amazing, but the more that you use the digital zoom the worse the quality of the picture once the filming ...

JVC Everio GZ-MG360B - Making memories last
Review of JVC Everio GZ-MG360B by
JohnA
Advantages: size, weight, big hard drive, long battery life
Disadvantages: software issue
...We settled on this JVC Everio GZ-MG360B. Was it a quality purchase though, or were our memories fleeting. Let us take a look and see.
I am always a straight shooter in these reviews, and this one will be no exception. There are some aspects to this camcorder that I have really enjoyed thus far, but there are some drawbacks as well. I will give it to you from both ends then let you make your choice as to whether you want to secure one for yourself.
... ...a TV camera. This JVC was so lightweight that I was able to capture plenty of lasting memories on tape, instead of hoping to catch that one important moment while I could still hold the camera up.
Another feature that it had an advantage on other cameras on, and far outpaced my old camcorder, was in the area of battery life. With this camcorder I could finally say goodbye to those days when I prayed that the kids would get done with what they were ...

Great camera for those who like quality
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR85 by
bigwerd07
Advantages: Incredible image quality, extreme zoom, and touchscreen
Disadvantages: Honestly, nothing I can think of!
This is the best camcorder I've ever dealt with. It has great features, is easy to operate, and it is a very reasonable price. The 60 GB hard drive space is what attracted me originally to this camera. I wanted to upgrade from my old piece of junk Panasonic camera, so I went online and found this beauty. After reading great things about it, I decided to purchase it. I took it out of the box and immediately felt the Steven Spielberg mania creeping ... ...camcorder. I love the fact that it can zoom in so closely to an object so far away and not lose its image quality. I don't really use the night vision, but it kind of neat to have. It makes you feel like a Navy Seal! The touch panel screen is kind of awkward at first, because I was so used to using buttons on the camera itself. But, after a month or so, the touch screen became second nature to me. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone ...
