My main reason for purchasing this CD changer was price. Being in college, I don't have a ton of money to spend so I'm always looking for quality products at the best price I can get. This was really a good price but not really good quality. I have had some problems with it not playing all 5 CDs, not recognizing some CDs or skipping over them altogether. I previously owned a Sony CD recorder with which I was very happy, but it was damaged in a move from one state to another. I bought the RCDW500C because I figured it would be similar, which it is, except for having more drawers. There are a few other minor differences, but it essentially works the same.
