Disadvantages: doesnt work worth crap!

In my opinion, Sunpentown SF-608R isn't much of an air conditioner - more like a cold/cool fan. It's ideal to put it in places that the regular central air conditioner can't reach/or you want to save electricity because you're the only one in the house and there's no need to have the central AC blasting.
