I was first introduced to Barnes and Noble by their book store. There are three Barnes and BNoble book stores in walkable distant from where I live. Barnes and Noble is the dominating book store in NYC-then I was introduced their website, and needless to say - I love it. Barnes&noble mainly sells books and DVD (they also sell toys, music, and some others) , Their web design is also very peaceful and straight foward. It's fancy yet plain. You'll love the calming and tasteful design as the professional feel. And you absolutely won't have to worry about flashy graphics that lags the computer and hurt your eyes. There's a search box and a drop down tab to pinpoint what kind of product it is (to advoid confusion). When you check out the products, the web also tells you about other products that other buyers who have purchased the product likes. One thing I also like on the online store is that they give you a choice (of different price) of whether you want your book to be in softcover, hard cover, large print, and some other varieties. B&N also have a $25 yearly memership. If you're planning to be a seriously B&N shoper - you should get it. You'll be saving alot more than $25 with just a few purchase. Even if you are not planning to spend money, you'll love the website. The site can tell you which store near you have certain books and if you're into the book, you can simply go to the store and read it. (Just click on the product and type in your zip, assuming that you live within reasonable distant to a B&N)B&N also accepts paypal, so that makes payment much easier. I lovve Barnes & Noble and I certain love their online store. I recommend it fully to anyone's interested.
