I have bought this XFX GeForce 8600GT to replace my old one. I always look for a relatively cheap video card that still is able to run new game well. Although I am a crazy gamer, I could not justify in my mind spending over $400 for a video card just to make game playing more enjoyable. So I saw lots of products and read many reviews online, at last I decided to purchase this card. This is a great card with the inexpensive price. It almost meets all my needs. It is able to run many high end game (including Timeshift, Gears of Wars, Hellgate London). I can play any of the newer FPS games without any problem. It installed easily and quickly. The VGA and DVI displays both look great under the Windows Vista system, and it supports the DirectX10. I was extremely shocked at the price for such high quality If you are looking for an inexpensive upgrading or replacing for an older machine that will allow you to run almost any game on the market right now, this card is wonderful.
