Belkin Wireless Adaptor
Review of Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adapter - network adapter by andyt545

Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: occasional connection disruption, feels cheap

This is a ok adaptor. ITs very easy to install on your pc, jsut put in the cd, plug it in, install it and your off. Once its connected theres you just need to conmnect it with your wireless router, but thats pretty easy to. The downside to this little device is that sometimes you'll randomly loose connection to the internet, and then connect agian ten minutes later. Although this happens occassionally it is very annoying and disruptive. Also its ... Read review

Great Product!
Review of Linksys Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter WUSB54GC - network adapter by D4V3

Advantages: Inexpensive, very simple to set up
Disadvantages: Takes up one of your available USB slots

This Linksys wireless adapter is one of the most over looked products on the computer market these days. This adapter is only slightly bigger than a USB flash drive and with minimal installation and set up time can provide older computers with a wireless network connection. I can assure you that this adapter is a life saver in many situations. For example, what will you do if the wireless on your laptop stops working? If you're so lucky to be under ...

Strongly recommended to users that own older computers without built in wireless functionality or who may not feel comfortable opening up their computer to repair its hardware. ... Read review

Wireless card
Review of D-Link Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter DWA-556 - network adapter by st0rmy

Advantages: Good bit
Disadvantages: finicky about angles

...your computer. However, with the D-Link Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter, It's gonna be a bit tricky to actually get the connection. This wireless card is super finicky about angles, which is sometimes hard to determine, considering where the connection is coming from. But once you find the angle you need, it gives a great connection, usually pretty fast. This card is actually pretty easy; Remove the side panel of your computer, along with the ...
...unplugged! I cannot stress this enough! Also make sure to discharge all static on you and the card by touching something metal before installing. Then you plug it in, with the antennae out of the computer. It's way easier than it seems, I swear. Overall, other'n the card being finicky about angles, it's a great card, i definitely reccommend it. ... Read review

Belking - Go Wireless
Review of Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter network adapter by andyt545

Advantages: Good signal quality, good value for money
Disadvantages: Occassionally signal is interrupted

Having owned this for over a year I am generally pleased with the good quality internet connection this allows me to pick up. This is about the size of a large pen drive, and it weighs very little. Although it is plastic is is fairly dutrable, but I don't really think that that is a necessity in wireless adaptors. This also comes with an extension if your need that extra range, which is easy to connect, and is a fairly longf cable. This looks ...
...the driver for this on your pc, and yes it does work with Vista. Occassionally I have had problems where I've been randomly disconnected from my access point, but a quick plug out and in usually sorts this out. Overall I'm pleased with the item, and I think it is good value for money. ... Read review
