Tivo Wireless G Adapter a must for Tivo Owners
Review of TiVo Wireless G USB Network Adapter - network adapter by grownupgirlie

Advantages: Matches Tivo, durable, works well
Disadvantages: You could probably find a cheaper alternative

After owning our Tivo for a while, we had set up home wireless network. We then learned that you could connect your Tivo to the wireless network, which allows to you transfer programs to your PC, access photos and music on your PC from the Tivo, as well as freeing up a phone line for Tivo service updates. While there is an approved list of USB network adapters you could buy, finding them turned out to be difficult. The easiest way for us to buy was ...
...grey and it has the Tivo logo on it. It has a long cord so you can move the adapter to where you get the best reception. It also folds so that you can set it on top of a flat surface if you desire. We have our Tivo on a shelf in a TV stand and the adapter sits on the shelf above it. Performance-wise, this little guy has worked flawlessly. We've never missed a service update due to any reception issues. Our wireless router is in a separate room, ... Read review

Dial Up? No Router? No Problem! Get Connected!
Review of Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector network adapter by xjuniorx

Advantages: play via dialup and or broad band easy to install easy to use
Disadvantages: a bit pricy and only works with the ds, ds lite, and wii! no other system!

...CD, External USB, and the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. It is really easy to install and play with it. What you do is just insert the plug to the PC and then get your DS and or Wii and connect via Nintendo USB Connector. Up to 5 Wiis and DSs can be connected at one time. I have tried all DS games via dial up and they all run perfectly and don't lag one bit. On the Wii some games lagged and some didnt but the best one MK:Wii didn't lag one bit! Any ... Read review

My Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter Review
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter by Inteligento1982

Advantages: Easy To Hook Up on the Console and It Automatically Connects To Xbox Live
Disadvantages: The Price Is Somewhat High To Purchase and Should Have Been Included With the Console

I ordered the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter and found it very easy to hook up. All you basicly have to do is click it in at the back of the 360. I did have trouble at first trying to get it to connect online to play my games but it was only because I did not know what I was doing at the time. I figured out what I was doing wrong by looking at the settings on my Router and finding the WEP key I needed to enter in the Xbox Live Network Settings. ...
...got connected and was up and running playing my games online. It even works better than hooking up my router to my Xbox 360 because when I turn on my 360 it immidiately connects to Xbox Live unlike the Router where I basicly had to test the Network Connections for Xbox Live almost all the time. You either have to enter your WEP key or WPA key which you can find on your wireless routers settings to get the 360s Network Adapter to work and you should ... Read review

Range not long enough
Review of D-Link Wireless G Router WBR-1310 - wireless router by aston50

Advantages: easy install
Disadvantages: very short range

The D-Link WBR-1310, to put it simply is a terrible product. It is one of the cheaper routers out there, but even with a low price it is not worth a purchase. Personally, I got this router for free with my laptop (my guess being that they were trying to get as rid of as many of these worthless things as they could). Now let me get to the specifics. I keep this router in my basement, because I can easily set it up with my internet from there. When ...
...home and I use the D-Link to connect it to the internet. However, when I check my NAT tpe it turns out to be type 3. To fix this I had to go to my router settings and open up some of the ports so that the PS3 can work properly online. So, I put in all the ports and that, and my NAT type is still type 3. What's even worse is that the D-Link has a special "gaming mode". All it saysis that if I have a game console connected, I should tick off the box ... Read review

...so much nicer to sit in on the sofa working than it is to sit at a desk and when it's nice outside it's a bonus to be able to sit in the fresh air. Also another plus to this router is that Belkin sell it with a lifetime warranty. ... Read review
