Advantages: wireless!! Disadvantages: limited to your computer for uploading only
Eye-Fi has a couple of products out and this is one of them. Eye-Fi Home is their lowest model memory network card. They offer SD-Cards which you can use in your camera. These memory cards can also be used to wirelessly upload pictures you have taken and are currently storing on you Eye-Fi Home card to your computer.

Now Eye-Fi produces two other similar cards with added features. In other words, it can wirelessly connect to your laptop or computer to upload the pictures you have already taken. Not only can it automatically upload to your computer but if you are in an area that has a wireless network you can access then you can upload your pictures to dotphoto.com which is a free photo sharing and storing website. ... ...sound like much but can you imagine being on vacation and running out of space on your memory card? No sweat, now you don't have to purchase another card or forego taking additional pictures - just find a wi-fi spot that you can connect to and upload your photos online. It will even store the photos into seperate folders based on the date they were taken.

The Netgear router is the best router that I have had to date. I had previously went through 2 different routers before I had purchased this one, and let me say I should have purchased this one first. It has four ports in the back so that you can connect up to four computers on it and has wireless capabilities which I also use on it. I have 3 of my computers connected to it for networking and it works beautifully with relatively no signal problems. ... ...private (with a password to protect it) so everyone cannot access it which I find to be a great feature. Also the wireless function is good, but not the best. I can go to almost any place in my house with my laptop and it will be connected until I go into my basement where there is little if any connection.
