Cheap router
Review of Belkin Wireless G Router F5D7230-4 - wireless router by yuanza

Advantages: cheap, easy installation, durable.
Disadvantages: easily get disconnected, complicated step in setting up network key

You can actually get this router for 20 bucks in bestbuy or other electronic shop. This router actually is pretty good for its price, the installation process is very quick and easy, and it also guide you step to step to set up a network key. The process of setting up network key though is a little complicated. You really need to write down the password because once you lost it you won't be able to retrieve it and you have to reinstall the router ...
...greatest signal since getting disconnected even if you are in the same room as the router is pretty common. But that is not a really major problem, because usually the computer will try to reconnect in a few seconds. For it's price it is a good deal although you might want to look for something else if you have extra money. ... Read review

Great product
Review of Linksys Wireless-B Network Kit W11S4PC11 - wireless router by Arubamobleader

Advantages: Fast and reliable
Disadvantages: Sometimes it lags, but rarely

...love the design on this Linksys and the speed is just amazing. I use it every day and set up the encryption on it so that none of my neighbors can steal my internet! Haha. I got this at Staples for a pretty good price and would recommend it to anybody. I let the modem rest right on top my my computer base and let it work its magic. It has two antennas for maximum reach. It goes through walls pretty good as well. You can use it for XBOX 360, Playstation ... Read review

...version of the routers which linksys by cisco manufactured it served me well with past 3 yrs. that i had been using it. Great for Security
Review of NETGEAR WGR614L Open Source Wireless-G Router - wireless router by darkestraven

Advantages: built in firewall, networking ability, wireless/hardwired
Disadvantages: some dead zones in basement

The Netgear router is the best router that I have had to date. I had previously went through 2 different routers before I had purchased this one, and let me say I should have purchased this one first. It has four ports in the back so that you can connect up to four computers on it and has wireless capabilities which I also use on it. I have 3 of my computers connected to it for networking and it works beautifully with relatively no signal problems. ...
...private (with a password to protect it) so everyone cannot access it which I find to be a great feature. Also the wireless function is good, but not the best. I can go to almost any place in my house with my laptop and it will be connected until I go into my basement where there is little if any connection. This model has a built in firewall to it which is another reason I got this router and it is a great feature. I would recommend this router for ... Read review

Great Buy!!
Review of NETGEAR WG511 Wireless-G PC Card - network adapter by jennmw

Advantages: Hasn't failed yet! (knock on wood)
Disadvantages: not many included directions

...heard some negative things about netgear cards how they always go in and out, etc but I have been pleasantly surprised. Setup took me about a day because I had no clue what I was doing and was trying to look up info on our desktop internet to find out what I was doing wrong. There were not many directions that came in the box. I have been set up now for over a year and couldn't be happier. I have never had to reset it and have never had any problems. ... Read review
