A good decent wireless internet adapter!
Review of Linksys Wireless-G PCI Card WMP54G - network adapter by darkmentor28

Advantages: Connection is stable, very easy to setup, solid signal for internet.
Disadvantages: Not a stable connection using Netgear or Trendnet routers.

...the WRT54G or even the Linksys Rangebooster. It is not so difficult to setup, the easiest way is before you have the adapter installed in your desktop, make sure you install the software first then from there put the new hardware so that it will automatically pick up. Here's the issue now, I would not highly recommend that you put a desktop in the ground while the connections in the back are near the wall and then all of a sudden your wireless router ...
...to the fact that the antenna will not pick up any good signal or none. A better advantage is having your desktop on top of a desk or where there is a side slot to put your desktop on a glass desk. Having the wireless which can point around the antenna will give a good solid connection. I have tested this on a Belkin and D-Link Wireless router -- It is pretty good for a connection. But when testing it with Netgear or the budget router Trendnet I ... Read review

An awesome router for internet connection!
Review of Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G - wireless router by darkmentor28

Advantages: Good extended range for wireless internet, sufficient security, works well with DSL or Cable internet.
Disadvantages: None!

...my laptops connected. The usual linksys router setup on the internet when connecting to (192.168.1.1) is very easy to setup. This way you can protect your wireless internet by setting up on your own SSID Name, put your own setup of which encrypted security you want so that when you do want manual wireless setups people would have to input a network key. This router has a built in firewall which you can also setup on which websites you want or don't ... Read review

Cheap router
Review of Belkin Wireless G Router F5D7230-4 - wireless router by yuanza

Advantages: cheap, easy installation, durable.
Disadvantages: easily get disconnected, complicated step in setting up network key

You can actually get this router for 20 bucks in bestbuy or other electronic shop. This router actually is pretty good for its price, the installation process is very quick and easy, and it also guide you step to step to set up a network key. The process of setting up network key though is a little complicated. You really need to write down the password because once you lost it you won't be able to retrieve it and you have to reinstall the router ...
...greatest signal since getting disconnected even if you are in the same room as the router is pretty common. But that is not a really major problem, because usually the computer will try to reconnect in a few seconds. For it's price it is a good deal although you might want to look for something else if you have extra money. ... Read review
