Review of NETGEAR WG111T Super-G Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter - network adapter by StanRogo

Advantages: fast speed high connection and signal strength, eay to use CD
Disadvantages: overheating, breaks down quickly quite quickly

Again, this was first a birthday present for me and it was the only way of recieving broadband in our home. A wirless adaptor by the way is something that recieves wirless signal from a wireless router so you dont have to limit a modem to one computer, but can send out signals to those in the house around you, and this thing picks these signals up. Allthough the wirless adaptor was not plug and play (but most adaptors aren't anyway) it had a clear ...
...system spesifications and showed if you actually met them or not and then continued atomatically to the setup screen. Only after this were the other options accesible on a menu screen. However it does not start the installation process again upon insertion of the disc in to the drive like some programmes and usually your main goal when you put a CD in to the computer for the first time you generally want to install the programme and not download ... Great Buy!!
Review of NETGEAR WG511 Wireless-G PC Card - network adapter by jennmw

Advantages: Hasn't failed yet! (knock on wood)
Disadvantages: not many included directions

...heard some negative things about netgear cards how they always go in and out, etc but I have been pleasantly surprised. Setup took me about a day because I had no clue what I was doing and was trying to look up info on our desktop internet to find out what I was doing wrong. There were not many directions that came in the box. I have been set up now for over a year and couldn't be happier. I have never had to reset it and have never had any problems. ... Read review

A very good router for everyday use!
Review of Linksys Compact Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54GC - wireless router by uheaven

Advantages: 4 Ports, Compact, Good Range for Homes
Disadvantages: Range not Good enough for Corp. or long range use, Light moves

This is my current router which is connected with: * My Desktop (Wired) * My SIP ATA (Wired) * My Laptop (Wireless) * My PSP (Wireless) * My PS3 (Wireless) It serves the purpose of a Home Router perfectly and easily. The best point is the compactness you can literally put this thing in your jeans pocket! It has 4 LAN Ports, 1 Internet Port. There are seven Lights in the front : Power, Internet, Wireless, and the 4 Wired Connections. One disadvantage ...
...For example, if the LAN 2 light is blinking, it also effects the LAN 3 light, which is sometimes confusing. Another thing is the range, Its not that much, but of course, as this router is meant for homes, the range is excellent enough for using it in even large or two-storey homes. Well, Overall it is pretty good for Normal Use in homes, with the strong point of compactness. ... Read review
