Belkin Wireless Adaptor
Review of Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adapter - network adapter by andyt545

Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: occasional connection disruption, feels cheap

This is a ok adaptor. ITs very easy to install on your pc, jsut put in the cd, plug it in, install it and your off. Once its connected theres you just need to conmnect it with your wireless router, but thats pretty easy to. The downside to this little device is that sometimes you'll randomly loose connection to the internet, and then connect agian ten minutes later. Although this happens occassionally it is very annoying and disruptive. Also its ... Read review

Reliable Broadband Wireless Adaptor
Review of Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter network adapter by llbcollins2

Advantages: Cheap and Reliable
Disadvantages: cannot comment on how it copes with large data transfer

I find this broadband wireless adapator an excellent piece of kit. I have used it on three laptops and found that the software was easy to install, and that the adaptor detected several wireless networks in my area (software indicates whether the networks are encrypted or not as well). The range varies. I have used it sucessfully at the other end of the garden about 25 meters away from the broadband router, and in the room right next door to the ...
...the house a few walls and floors away I was unsuccesful connecting to my broadband even though the software showed the availability of other broadband networks. You are not required to just use the Belkin Wizard, which happens quite frequently ...

Advantages: Ease of installation, cost
Disadvantages: None found yet

...We ended up getting the Belkin 802.11g wireless card. Not being very computer savvy, I was looking for something basic and not too expensive. The Belkin has performed well. Installation of the software (included) took a few seconds. It easily connected with our home wireless router. The only issue we have had, which affects the wireless connection of the laptop I bring home from work as well, is that if the cordless phone is in use, wireless connections ...
