Lynksys router is my favorite. It is my present router. It has good performance. It does not give me any problem so far. I have four desktop connected to it plus one wireless laptop. I have recently purchased this wireless router. I give this an overall positive rating. However, I was a little dissapointed with the range. I have 100% signal EVERYWHERE in my home. I have it set up in an upstairs bedroom and all of our computers are downstairs. However, when taking the laptop to the back porch, I have VERY low to no quality signal. I went to purchase this router for my computer since I have two of them. I bought it at Best Buy for 70.00 and something. The look was nice when I took it out of the box. But I had a hard time trying to get it installed. I even called for some assistance and they could not even help me. Which was very upsetting. It was a very great value. After plugging everything in, the detailed instructions made it very simple to establish a wireless signal and my laptop was able to connect to the wireless network with ease.
