Advantages Price, quality of picture, software bundle, ease of use Disadvantages slight delay when using conferencing
...This camera from 3Com couldn't be simpler to use. It plugs directly into your USB Port and comes with great software.
Software included is webcam32, Picture Works Live, 3com Homeconnect Vid Cam, viewer, and great help files.
The camera allows you to take still digital images and record live video. Picture quality is excellent and when using the webcam for video e-mail or conferencing the delay in picture is minimal.
The camera can be focussed really close up so is excellent for those macro shots. It has self adjusting 'white light' features and sets itself up for the prevailing light conditions.
An excellent and affordable webcamera...

Advantages Recommend to potential buyers Disadvantages Money
...For all your online confrencing needs wether you a buisnessman or a foreghn student wanting to keep in touch with your family or freands its very easy to use,
I got a usb version wich was so easy to set up and get going very easy to use i was net meeting with my freinds in no time at all it was great fun. you can also use this as a way of seeing who's going into your room when your not and if youve got Pc anywere installed you can see who is in your room from anywhere in the world cool or what
You only have to look at the picture to see that the quality is very bad. Only having a very low spec, low res CCD - the quality is low light is even worse. But if all you want is a webcam or cheap web video-conferencing solution then it does work. I have USB version, the drivers are readilt available and the support from creative is very good...
