This is a fantastic thing to have to filter your water and it become very clear. You need to soak before you use though. It keeps every thing from passing through but the nice clean water. Our household has owned a Pur FM3333 faucet Mount filter for approx 12 months. Owning one of these has made it possible to get great tasting water straight from the faucet saving refridgerater or counter top space. The only drawback that we have found is occasionally dish washing soap has come into contact with it and we have had soapy water instead of pure water. Why have a water filter connected to your sink that cost a lot of money when you can have this? It is very easy to fill and can be placed in the refrigerator to keep the water cold. It is very narrow so it doesn't take up a lot of room. It has a convienant dispenser on the front that can fill any glass or container easily. The water tastes great ! ...you will really enjoy this Brita water filter and pitcher. It is a really good size for a small family. And fits like a gallon of water in the fridge. It does take quit a while for the filter to drain through. I would say 3-5 minutes. That can be a little annoying if you are like me and fill up your own water bottles for the next day or need alot of water at once. (Bottled water it's amazing!) Filters last around three months.
