With its rugged design, the V38r-05 withstands harsh conditions that can damage or destroy standard PDAs. It's drop-tested up to four feet and is dust-proof and splash-proof. The V38r-05's industry-standard CE .NET 4.2 OS supports many third party applications and drivers, giving it nearly universal adaptability. With a bar code scanner, 1.3 megapixel camera, a secure digital (SD) card slot and fingerprint sensor, the V38r-05 meets data and security needs for such diverse industries as healthcare, public safety, retail, logistics, field services and military. It also features integrated 802.11b/g wireless communications so you can update files and records remotely. The hot-swappable, rechargeable Li-Ion battery allows you to change your battery without shutting down or losing data. The bright color display delivers clear images in all lighting conditions.
