And right off the bat, we fall in love with something cool about this peripheral: it's wireless, just like the traditional controllers. That right there is a significant plus over the DFP when used in conjunction with a PlayStation. Another boon is the integrated lap mount. Yes, I know the DFP can be had with a lap adapter, but it costs extra, and I don't remember ever seeing one ... ...dust.
Not so the Microsoft offering. Although the lap mount isn't the perfect solution, the fact that I can stash it under the sofa and be up and racing in a few seconds, along with not having to have a special setup, means it's already getting a lot more use. The DFP does have one major advantage when it comes to setup, though; the pedals have the ability to grip to the carpet, keeping them in place. There's nothing like going for the brake pedal ...

Got the controller and it works as advertised - as it should. Battery charges quickly with the included cable. Price seems a bit high, but it is at least cheaper than buying them separately now.
I also have an annoying issue with this controller. When using the controller the right thumbstick makes squeaky noises like it needs some grease or something. Very annoying, and not something that happens with my other 360 controller. It really shouldn't ...

The pad has a very long batery life with any AA bateries and the range of the pad is very cool as you can play the game from the other side of the room and still ahve no lag or loss of connection, unless your batteries run out. This controller comes in a nice white with nice silver trim, it is like something That software company Apple would make.
The layout of the controller is perfect for many types of games, the triggers making great for first person shooters, racing games. The layout is highly accessible and usable and there are enough buttons for even the most complex of games.
Because it is wireless you have total freedom when using this controller, you can move ... ...wire and bring your Xbox 360 games console crashing down to the floor.
It does have to use a battery, either regular AA ones or the rechargeable battery pack, it also has a bump on the back. Where the battery goes.
It is not PC ready like the wired one but you can get A wireless receiver which will make it compatible. ...
